Debates

Types of debates

  • Civil court, this argument happens in public. The debate serves to find a settlement from both sides. Who ever the jury chooses to have a better argument wins and being decided by the public is the best decision. The debate has to be very structured by witnesses and evidence to make sure your argument is stronger than the opposing side. If the defendants slip up and lie, the decision is in favor of the accusers and vice versa.
  • During Presidential elections their debates are broadcasted to the public on TV and the internet. The debates serve to get candidates more votes than the other candidates. Yes it helps arrive at a better decision, because the outcome is the voter’s decision and who ever can convince the most with their ideas wins the election. The debate is structured by how many good things about them they can find and how much dirt they can put on other candidates. This moves voters to the candidates cause.
